Amerasekera & Co., (ACO) has been practicing as Chartered Accountants for over 35 years, and is now managed by six experienced full time Partners, an executive management comprising of Senior Managers, Managers and Assistant Managers together with a support staff of over 150 professionals and para-professionals. The senior Partner of the firm count over 35 years continuing service. The main office is situated at No. 12 Rotunda Gardens, Colombo – 03; with a operating location and associate firm offices housed in Rotunda Gardens itself. Our local client portfolio is spread throughout Sri Lanka, while we provide consultancy services to several overseas companies engaged in infrastructure development projects.

Our regular client base (approximately 500) consists of companies from multiple industries including banks, finance companies, insurance companies, manufacturing concerns, IT and telecommunication services, property developers and builders, service providers including professional service providers. We serve clients in the public and private sectors, funded projects executed by the Government, International and local NGO’s, foreign missions, partnerships and proprietorships of different sizes.


We have carried out specialized consultancy assignments for several government sector institutions including University Grants Commission, Coconut Development Authority, Independent Television Network, Sri Lanka Ports Authority and Lanka Phosphate Ltd.


We place employees on continuous education and training on compliance with laws of the country, confidentiality of client information and professional obligation towards the clients. We place importance in integrity, quality and independence in providing service to clients. We learn from each and every situation and the experience gained is used to better serve our clients. Our staff is well trained and has expertise in the respective fields to deal with client issues and concerns. We insist on the operational qualities of simplicity, fresh thinking, thorough understanding of client’s business and clarity in solutions. We conduct regular review of internal processes to improve quality of service and practice inter partner concurring reviews of all major deliverables.


A team of six professional partners one of whom is also an Attorney-at-Law, while another with a Masters in Business Administration, run the practice and in addition to in-house support staff of over 150, has access to a panel of multi disciplinary specialists when such skills are requested by clients.
